[OVERVIEW]
When a family member needed a website to promote a recently acquired beach rental home, I was asked to design and build a website for "The Wright Stuff" in Kill Devil Hills, a property inspired by the nearby Wright Brothers Memorial. The brand centers on a custom logo and a mid-century visual direction that echoes aviation heritage without feeling feeling dated.
Before development, I created a single page prototype mockup for the client to review and provide feedback on so content order, calls to action, and page flow were aligned from the start. The homepage orients visitors quickly with clear sections for amenities, house details, and location so the experience feels welcoming and efficient.
The site uses strong imagery to tell the story of the interiors and outdoor spaces, from the mid-century modern decor to entertainment areas and practical comforts.
A Matterport virtual tour gives guests a true sense of scale before they book, which reduces back and forth questions and increases confidence. Photography, iconography, and color stay consistent so every page reads as part of one system.
