Sensor Options Made Clear

BluVector needed a clear way to show buyers what they were actually purchasing, since product terminology and rack options were hard to visualize. I decided to create a set of realistic, vector-based illustrations of the BluVector ATD (Advanced Threat Detection) server chassis with accurate front and back views.

Each file was structured in editable layers so sales and engineering could configure the image to match a customer’s selected sensors, power supplies, and slot layouts.

The system includes two complementary styles. The first is a technical set with numbered callouts, color coding, and clear labels for each sensor and port. Sales teams used these in decks and proposals to explain what each module does and how it all connects.

The second is a branded set using the BluVector blue color with a clean outline style for marketing collateral, plus optional faceplate covers featuring the BluVector ATD product logo.

Both styles share the same grid and dimensions so they can be swapped without reformatting.

To bridge renderings with reality, I also retouched high-resolution photos of the chassis, adding the BluVector ATD logo and product stickers to show a production-like finish.

Before this work, there was no usable visuals of the actual sensor product. With the illustration library and photo set, the team could market configurations, walk clients through system options, and align on hardware quickly, even with nontechnical stakeholders.
