[OVERVIEW]
Arts Alliance Virginia is a nonprofit that advocates for the arts across the Tidewater region and raises funds for grants, programs, and community partnerships. They needed clear, inviting materials that would explain their mission, thank supporters, and make giving easier for busy audiences in offices, venues, and online. The goal was simple clarity and recognizable branding so people could understand what the Alliance does, why it matters, and how to get involved.
I built a visual system around abstracted leaf forms and shapes to echo their tagline “Growing Together.” and borrowed colors from their logo to keep colors consistent. This way the palette stays bright and artful to reflect creative energy, while clean typography, simple grids, and generous spacing keep everything modern rather than playful.
Using that system, I created a set of reusable pieces that cover the key moments: an overview one-pager about impact and grants, an Arts Alliance 100 one-pager that outlines member benefits and committee projects, a donor recognition card sized for newspaper placements, a document template with a branded header for official use, a bi-fold fund brochure that expands the story with imagery and lists leadership, and an AEP6 infographic one-pager that connects arts investment to local economic results.
